Events in Monnickendam
Monnickendam is an authentic IJsselmeer town near Amsterdam. With a beautiful historic center, lovely restaurants and beautiful walking and cycling routes. A trip to the Hemmeland recreation area, Zuiderwoude, Broek in Waterland, Marken or Edam – it’s all possible. Come and experience Monnickendam by boat, camper or stay at one of our apartments.
In the summer of 2025 we had the Jan Haring Race on 5 and 6 July and Monnickendammer Visdagen in July & August on Fridays.
Early August, we have a first at the harbour: a travelling open-air cinema visited us on 1, 2 and 3 August. You can watch a preview here.
This year the Wine Route is on October 4th. There is a beautiful route along the entrepreneurs of the city center and we are one of the locations.
