05-07-2023 – Storm Poly raged over North Holland on Wednesday 5 July. Although the forecast was that the peak would be at 11 AM, it was already here early in the morning. Via Facebook and Instagram we informed our clients about the status.

Luckily we had relatively little damage. As a rule, summer storms always cause more damage to boats (but these damages are not as serious) than winter storms. This is because in the summer the boats are rigged in the berth. At the peak of the storm we had wind gusts of 52 knots (at 9 AM) and a dip in the water level (64 cm below NAP an hour later). Always in a storm: do you want to know how your boat is? Mail your name and boat name to us and we will send you a photo. It was a Windy Wednesday…

How can we help?
