Events in Monnickendam

Monnickendam is an authentic IJsselmeer town near Amsterdam. With a beautiful historic center, lovely restaurants and beautiful walking and cycling routes. A trip to the Hemmeland recreation area, Zuiderwoude, Broek in Waterland, Marken or Edam – it’s all possible. Come and experience Monnickendam by boat, camper or stay at one of our apartments.

In the summer of 2025, many events are planned in Monnickendam, such as the Jan Haring Race on 5 and 6 July and Monnickendammer Visdagen in July & August on Fridays.

Early August, we have a first at the harbour: a travelling open-air cinema will be visiting us on 1, 2 and 3 August. More information will follow soon. You can watch a preview here.

Sail 2025 is in Amsterdam. Are you a berth holder and do you want to sail in Amsterdam? Then mooring in Uitdam might be an idea: let us know and we will find a good berth (free of charge!)

And of course Soundbites on 13 September and the Wine Route in early October are on the agenda.
