The planning

20-5-2025 – Planning a move like ours has many facets. In addition to the planning of the Gouwhaven project, there is the “normal” port season (booking winter storage is possible from 1 July) and our own construction activities. Below we indicate the expected activities per month and between brackets we’ve updated the items on latest status:

June 2025

– Preloading on the camper site for the new crane track, takes 3 months (Our works – started)
– Moving the barrier on Hemmeland to its final location (Our works – finished)
– New fence around our plot on Hemmeland (Our works – finished)
– Piling work for the supermarket and the first block of houses until August (Project – finished)

July 2025

– Register for winter storage, you will receive the information in the last week of June (You – both locations are fully booked)
– Pre-loading on the camper site for the new crane track, 2 months left (Our works – started)
– Piling work for the supermarket and the first block of houses until August (Project – finished)

August 2025

– Last month of pre-loading of camper site for the new crane track (Our works)
– Last month of piling work for the supermarket and the first block of houses (Project – finished)
– After summer holidays: deconstruction the I- and the rigging jetty at Hemmeland (Project – started)
– After summer holidays: start of preparations for the renovation of the harbour building (Our works – started)
– After summer holidays: start of the construction of the breakwater (Our works – started)

September 2025

– Start of construction of crane track (Our works – started)
– Breakwater ready (Our works – planned for last week of September)
– Renovation of harbour office (Our works – started) – during the works there are toilets available. Showers are open at the Waterland location.

October 2025

– Last month of construction of crane track (Our works)
– Renovation of the harbour office (Our works)

November 2025 – April 2026

– Arrival of new crane (Our works)
– Delivery of harbour building (Our works)
– Construction of the new workshop (Our works)
– Boats are on the shore or at Waterland JKL or Hemmeland A&B (Our works and you)
– Jetties C to G and C to H are being removed
– New jetties will be installed in the winter and we will connect them
