The planning

20-5-2025 – Planning a move like ours has many facets. In addition to the planning of the Gouwhaven project, there is the “normal” port season (booking winter storage is possible from 1 July) and our own construction activities. Below we indicate the expected activities per month and between brackets we’ve updated the items on latest status:

Realized June – October 2025

– Preloading on the camper site for the new crane track, takes 3 months
– Moving the barrier on Hemmeland to its final location
– New fence around our plot on Hemmeland
– Piling work for the supermarket and the first block of houses until August (Project – finished)
– Breakwater installed
– Optimist storage moved to the Roundabout

November 2025

– Build the new crane track (We)
– Renovation of the toilet building (We, started in September) – During the renovation, restrooms will be available at De Ark. Showers are available at the Waterland location.
– Demolition of the jetty begins, starting at Hemmeland I. Boats must be in their winter moorings by November 11th. The connecting jetty will be removed (We)

December 2025 – April 2026

– Arrival of new crane (Our works)
– Delivery of harbour building (Our works)
– Construction of the new workshop (Our works)
– Boats are on the shore or at Waterland JKL or Hemmeland A&B (Our works and you)
– Jetties C to G and C to H are being removed
– New jetties will be installed in the winter and we will connect them
